How My Web Designing Came Into Play

I first started to play around with HTML when I was playing an online game called Neopets. I soon figured out how to display a link correctly after Pinkysome help from someone I met on that website. I started to make small pages on the webhost called Geocities. They were cute, small web pages that featured Anime like Sailor Moon. Soon, my web designing and coding developed a little more and I created a website called Pinky. I made wallpapers and updated almost daily. It was a great learning experience. That site usually used iFrame layouts since I didn’t know how to code DIV layer and Tables layouts yet. Soon, after about two or three years, I decided to get a domain called Moonlight Kiss. I made a forum for that website and created even more wallpapers and gave visitors games, movies, and music to download as well. I then installed Wordpress on that site. Later on, the host was not answering my support e-mails and I was stuck in a rut. It started getting very buggy and I didn’t know what was happening. (Later I found out it was an application already installed on the server itself but it was too late). I fought with my Dad into getting me hosted at Dot 5 Hosting and getting a new domain name since the one I had was just not transferring. Soon, it came to deciding on an interesting domain name, Divine Reality. I was upset since Divine Reality.com was already taken by someone else. But once I came by Divine Reality.net, it clicked. The name flowed along with it’s mysterious sound. I was happy and I got that domain name. I installed Wordpress (The right way) and here we are! I am getting much better with PHP, HTML, and CSS. Soon, I will be making these qualities even better next semester in college. I will be taking many, many web design classes to help better my skills.

How My Graphic Design Career Started

Rainbow RoadI have been graphic designing since I was around 10 years old. Yes, 10 years old! My Dad gave me my first Macintosh computer and told me to play around with Adobe Photoshop 7.0. I was excited and created my first image in that program (Right image). My Dad saw my talent and encouraged me to make some more. Soon it traveled online. I started making avatars and wallpapers. I read tutorials from many websites to make my skills better. Soon, I started making real wallpapers in Moonlight Kiss, which was my first real website. I created my first layout with that website as well. Years passed and I came to making graphics and wallpapers by request from people. I became pretty popular on the Live Journal Layout community and competed in a contest there as well. I didn’t win but I got in the finalists. I was very excited. I soon left Live Journal and ventured into the Web Design Community. I came across three amazing websites: Aethereality.net, Celestial-Star, and Day Dream Graphics. They all helped me a lot with my designing Web sites and making them come to life with graphics. I soon found myself on the computer for hours on end creating wallpaper after wallpaper. I loved it! It was the best thing that I have found interest in. I started making more avatars and the collection grew. Now, I extract PNGs, create wallpapers, textures, and make avatars. I submit my avatars and PNGs to Celestial-Star now. I also post them in my Portfolio page. Go take a look.
