First Post in WP 2.3!

I finally got the nerve to actually update my WordPress from 2.0.2 - 2.3. Yeah, huge jump there isn’t it?
Speaking of updates, I have a new design up in my gallery to be viewed. I actually got paid to do this and it feels like much of an accomplishment. 
I’ve been going to college and it seems to be going nicely. I would like to have more challenging classes, especially my computer class, but I guess I have to work my way up again once more. 
Oh well, I guess practice makes perfect. I also got a job (Finally!) for a neighbor across the street to baby-sit for her kids which are older, can speak the English language in full sentences, and do math. LOL I’m so funny… They’re like 7 and 10 years old. Which I can deal with, actually.
I have nothing else to really blog about, I know, I’m boring as hell. But at least I update with pictures!
I'm Ashley and I am a college Freshman going for a Bachelor's in Web Design. I live a very comfortable life and I love blogging, web design, graphic design, video games, and singing. 
Wow. From 2.0.2 to 2.3? You’ve been a slacker! I love upgrading my programs and scripts etc. so it’s almost always updated.
Hope you enjoy college. I can’t wait to finish my first year in a month! Grats for the new job.
Thank you so much Rilla! Yeah, I was just really nervous that I would lose everything when I upgraded. But once I installed the new WP, my MySQL tables started going crazy and I always have to repair them every day. I sent an e-mail to tech-support f=at my host and we’ll see what happens.
What’s really funny is that I hate kids, but a job’s a job I’ll say. College is nice, getting good grades is always a plus.
Yay for the update on Wordpress. It took me a while to decide to upgrade also. The new design looks beautiful. To have been paid for it must feel nice.
Don’t feel bad, my wordpress was 2.1… something when i upgraded to 2.3 before switching servers.. man talk about some plugin kinks eh?

wow, congrats on overcoming many obstacles to upgrade it, it seems to me like the more you customize your site, the less likely you are willing to upgrade it, lol
personally, i’ll wait for 3.0 or something before i muster up the courage to do it, lol

I feel for you. I hate updating WP. I am always afraid that it is going to wipe my databases. It did it one time and I had followed the instructions to the letter.
Good for you for updating to Wordpress 2.3!! It’s one of the best developments so far, and much more easier to maintain and being notified and all. That’s one of the hard things about school… is each new class, you start from the bottom back up again.
